Weekly poem on Trump Presidency

Having come to a field having come
to a creek in a field having
come to seek out the beast

in the knee of the field by the creek
the beast that lives in my field
               by my creek

having come to this apogee
         without a bead of belief
in the hour of my need

having come in the hour of my need
to my field by my creek
               and found him

in my field by my creek
         having come and refused
to get down on my knees

in my field by my creek
         having come having refused him
               come now Zeus disarm him
