LEAH UMANSKY

Of Tyrant 3

The other side

of hatred

is innocence & good.

Reset is a point of enough,

a fault of fallible.

This armor

is a doorway

of darkness

holding back

light;

is a lick

away

from logic;

a loneliness

farther & deeper

than a startle.

i am startled

i am spun

& startling

//

you thief

you liar

you sheep

you hedge of darkness

the sting is in your haze

your gaze

your contemptible rage

you foul

you sty

you splint

its design

its eyeless child

give me that hope

///

i will fill it with more:

light

good

peace

story

sisterhood

reset

reset

reset

reset

then love.
