Weekly poem on Trump Presidency

Rob MacDonald

American Logic 2018

The impulse to share
another post
on dopamine addiction.

*

Stupidity spreads
like the wings
of a flamingo.

*

I’m still skeptical
when I read
about meditation.

*

The salad infested with
Cyclospora cayetanensis
didn’t look great anyway.

*

There’s a parallel
to be drawn between
patriotics and compost.

*

Please stop
taking selfies
with the beached baby seal.

*

I meant to say
that I wouldn’t
mind starting over.

*

Apparently, you can’t
drink bubble tea
through a paper straw.

*

Driving with one hand
out the window
does give me hope.
